Abortion has been a normal part of health care for thousands of years. Recipes for abortion serums (i.e., abortifacients) are older than any Biblical scroll we have found.

Abortion was practiced when the Torah was written. Why doesn’t the Torah prohibit abortion? Because it’s normal. The Torah literally spends more time on the color of cattle.

Abortion was practiced when Jesus Christ walked among us. What does Jesus himself say on the topic? Nothing, not a single solitary jot or tittle.

Why do Christians oppose abortion? They have been misled.

Life begins at conception? That’s an extremely radical, and new view. One that cannot be justified by Jesus’ words or the Bible more broadly.

In the beginning, G*d breathed into the nostrils of Adam. G*d provides us the spirit, the breath of life. Everything that has breath praise the Lord, right?

Breath is the marker of life. Life and breath are synonymous in the Tanakh. Fertilized eggs don’t breathe. An embryo doesn’t breathe. A fetus doesn’t breathe.

Abortion is not murder.
